Blue Edge Technology, LLC ("Blue Edge," "we," "us") operates blueedgetech.net. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and delete personal information when you use this website, contact us, or when we receive information through Amazon's Selling Partner API. It follows the structure of Shopify's app privacy policy template, written for this business.
Information we collect
Contact form. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message.
Website logs. Our host records the IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time of the request. We use that to run the site and to see what failed.
Amazon information. If Amazon gives us access to a selling account through the Selling Partner API, we may receive the order, buyer, listing, and account information Amazon makes available for that account. We collect it only for the selling account that was authorized.
We do not take payment on this website. We do not ask for a card number here.
How we use it
We use contact details to answer the message you sent. We use log data to keep the site available. We use Amazon information to operate the authorized selling account, including orders, shipping, and the records that account requires. We do not use Amazon information for our own advertising.
How we store it, and for how long
Contact messages are emailed to us and kept in that mailbox while we need them to handle the request. Log data is kept by the host for its ordinary log period. Amazon information is kept only while we need it for the authorized account. We delete it when that purpose is finished, when you or Amazon ask us to delete it, and when Amazon's Data Protection Policy requires deletion, including within 30 days when that policy requires a 30-day deletion.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is sent over HTTPS to FormSubmit, which delivers the message by email. Access to the mailbox and to any Amazon credentials is limited to people who do that work. Credentials are stored encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfect.
How we share it
FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the contact form so it can email us. Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the connection logs that come with that. Amazon receives whatever we submit back through the Selling Partner API for the authorized account. We also share information when the law requires it, or to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
After you leave this site, the other site's policy applies.
Your requests
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have, to correct it, or to delete it. Email armanchicago@gmail.com or write to the address below. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also ask us to restrict or object to processing, and you can complain to your local authority. We process contact and account information to answer you and to run the selling account you or we authorized.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We post changes on this page and change the date at the top. The posted version is the current one.
